Main responsibilities

- Supervises and guarantees the mechanical studies

- Drafts the equipment integration specifications (vibrating distribution, screw capping machines, etc.)

- Serves as a privileged interlocutor for the customer during project development

- Supervises and guarantees the mechanical parts list

- Initiates mechanical purchases, drafts the MDO/ADO liaison document

- Initiates the pneumatic circuit diagram

- Guarantees the MDO deliverables (workshop file, parts list, cross table)

- Assists with machine assembly and development

 

Mechanical designer

Main responsibilities

- Completes the mechanical studies sketched out by the project managers (hardware, component data card, etc.)

- Creates the mechanical part definition drawings

- Creates the assembly drawings

- Check the feasibility of the mechanical assemblies and refers to the project managers in the event of problems.

- Publishes the MDO deliverables (workshop file, parts list, cross table)

 

 

 

Electricity Design Office

 

Electrical designer

Main responsibilities

- Designs the electrical and pneumatic diagrams using IGE SEE ELECTRICAL EXPERT, according to the functional analysis provided

- Selects the equipment required to create the electrical cabinets and to wire the machines

- Draws up the parts lists in EXCEL

- Launches and monitors supplies

- Performs electrical and pneumatic wiring tests

 

 

 

Automation and Robotics Design Office

 

Automation Engineer

- Takes into account functional analyses

- Performs the automation study (grafcets, organisation charts, etc.)

- Creates the PLC programs

- Creates the programs for the GUIs and any peripherals

- Creates the robot programs

- Tests and fine-tunes the machines

- Drafts the automation technical file

- Assists customers with machine acceptance

- Restarts the machines and trains users at customer sites (France and abroad)

 

Automation project manager

- Assists the electrical design office with the creation of electrical and pneumatic diagrams and parts lists

- Performs the automation study (grafcets, organisation charts, etc.)

IT project manager

Main responsibilities

- Drafts the functional analyses

- Defines the test bench hardware and software (validation and integration test benches, equipment simulator benches)

- Assists the electrical design office with the creation of electrical and pneumatic diagrams and parts lists

- Develops and fine-tunes test software packages (low “hardware” layers, application layers for the manual test sequencer and automatic test sequencers)

- Integrates and validates the test benches, drafts the documentation associated with test bench development (hardware and software specifications, validation procedure, user manual, etc.)

- Assists customers with test bench and machine acceptance

- Restarts the machines and trains users at customer sites

 

Robotic vision experrt

Main responsibilities

- Drafts the "vision control" specifications

- Defines the hardware required to conduct the feasibility tests: hardware used, parts tested, test conditions, observed results

- Backs up the programs, shots, etc.

- Participates, with the automation project manager, in the definition of vision system/machine automation exchanges

- Creates the vision programs

- Adjusts the machine cameras, vision sensors and lights

- Develops vision programs on the machines

 

 

Creation & Manufacturing

 

Fitter developer

Main responsibilities

- Reads and interprets paper and SOLIDWORKS industrial drawings

- Identifies the components to be assembled

- Checks the conformity of mechanical parts

- Defines the flow process grid

- Assembles the parts and elements making up the sub-assemblies and assemblies

- Checks the conformity of sub-assemblies and assemblies

- Proposes solutions to the problems encountered

- Updates the drawings

 

Cableman

Main responsibilities

- Reads and interprets wiring and pneumatic diagrams

- Identifies the electrical and pneumatic components to be fitted

- Checks the conformity of electrical and pneumatic elements

- Fits the electrical and pneumatic components

- Wires the electrical and pneumatic components

- Checks the conformity of his/her wiring (input/output test)

- Updates the wiring and pneumatic diagrams

- Proposes solutions to the problems encountered

 

Storekeeper / Receptionist

Main responsibilities

- Performs physical acceptance of equipment delivered to AMS and checks integrity

- Performs DN/order reconciliation and records the entry in the Divalto ERP in accordance with the procedures in force and in real time

- Follows up suppliers where necessary

- Replenishes consumables and guarantees a sufficient stock level

- Replenishes standard contract-related parts according to stock levels

- Performs physical dispatching by sub-assembly in storage standards by populating the cross table of the various contracts

- Makes the sub-assemblies available to the workshop

 

 

 

Customer and team relations

 

BLM

Main responsibilities

- Carries out commercial prospecting on the defined customer portfolio

- Carries out the preliminary projects and performs costing to meet the requirements defined by the customer

- Searches for and proposes differentiating technical solutions in order to constitute attractive offers. (in collaboration with the Mech and Auto DOs if necessary)

- Develops commercial offers and proposes an estimated project margin

- Conducts commercial negotiations in connection with the operational director

- Performs the functional analysis, has it validated by the customer and presents it to the project team

- Conducts a progress review with the project team, updates and distributes the associated action plan and monitoring indicators

 

Support functions

 

Administrative and Purchasing Assistant

Main responsibilities

- Telephone and physical reception

- Records customer orders and prints customer DNs

- Updates the customer billing table

- Communicates with the Mecamen HR department

- Manages office consumables and the various vehicle fleet maintenance contracts

- Based on the parts lists/deadlines transmitted by the Purchasing and Supply Manager, creates purchase requests (quotes) via the DIVALTO ERP interface and sends consultations.

- Upon receipt of offers and validation by the Procurement Purchasing Manager, enters the orders

- Enters the acknowledgement of receipt dates in the ERP

- Participates in the optimisation of the supply and purchasing process

 

Buyer

Main responsibilities

- Defines, in collaboration with the prescribers (mechanical engineering, automation, robotics and IT), the supplier panel in order to standardise and optimise the purchasing terms (price, time, service, RFA, terms of payment, etc.)

- Negotiates framework contracts and prices annually with our main suppliers

- In relation with the project managers, carries out consultations and negotiations with suppliers based on the equipment parts lists and creates the quote in the ERP (Divalto). Deadline, delivery, terms of payment, late penalties

Monitors and follows up on deliveries, in connection with the equipment production schedule and the storekeeper

Participates in the definition of consumables and standard parts

Monitors suppliers and offers attractive alternatives to existing suppliers

Optimises the procurement process (manages an improvement plan)
